If you're new to LiveCode, or just want some extra tips, take a look at the resources below:

Programming With LiveCode - Gracemount High School

This is a brilliant course being taught to secondary schoolers in Gracemount High School, Edinburgh, Scotland.

Through a series of structured tasks the students are taught to creaste 10 programs. Some of the programs are fun and interactive and appeal to teenagers strong drive for social interaction - like learning how to develop a program to send party invitations. Other are work focused; students use LiveCode to make simple programs to calculate income or make holiday reservations.

As you would expect the course starts with some very basic knowledge and slowly builds students' confidence and skill sets.

This course is a great way for new students, young and old, to get started with basic LiveCode Tasks.

Thanks to Steven Whyte, Gracemount Teacher, for preparing these notes and allowing us to reproduce them.     Below is a link to the download including Course Notes and all the completed LiveCode files that you will need.
